Retrofit Academy

AIM has a close relationship with the Retrofit Academy who have trained over 1700 Retrofit Coordinators nationwide. They offer Training Partnership Licence options for anyone interested in working with them to deliver Retrofit training.

The academy delivers three of AIM’s four Retrofit qualifications

• AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Domestic Retrofit Advice
• AIM Qualifications Level 4 Award in Domestic Retrofit Assessment
• AIM Qualifications Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management

Training Licence Options

Retrofit operate a Hub and Spoke model: Once a centre has secured a Training Partnership License and become an official Retrofit Academy Training Hub, they will not partner with anyone else in the local area that is in direct competition. However, as the franchisee, centres can partner with other providers to share the cost of the licence, while increasing their reach.

The Training Partnership Licence offers cccess to all Retrofit Academy learning and teaching resources and a comprehensive ‘Train the Trainer’ programme for two members of staff. For more details see the Retrofit Academy website.
